Community Producer/Manager

Overview: This person will be the liaison between the community team and various departments such as marketing, PR, and product development. The community manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining community related projects and ensuring our teams have the feedback needed to improve our products' online presence. Ideal candidates will have excellent social, communication, and diplomatic skills with a strong focus on customer service.

Job Description:

  • Build and develop an robust online communities for several key franchises.
  • Coordinate effort with marketing, PR, internal product management, and external development teams.
  • Work with internal technology groups and web development teams to create and maintain franchise web sites.
  • Manage post launch support (tournaments, events, product updates, etc.).
  • Implement and monitor metrics to measure success of online projects.
  • Help manage public tests and gather community feedback to improve final product quality.
  • Create community assets such as podcasts, developer interviews, product updates, and game tips & tricks.
Qualifications:
  • Passion for gaming with a focus on online gaming and/or online communities. Massively multiplayer gaming experience is a plus.
  • Web production experience.
  • Strong writing skills with available examples.
  • Extensive knowledge of forum and chat moderation.
  • Able to coordinate efforts across multiple locations simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or related field preferred.
